What's That Whooshing Sound?
“And I learned what is obvious to a child. That life is simply a collection of little lives, each lived one day at a time. That each day should be spent finding beauty in flowers and poetry and talking to animals. That a day spent with dreaming and sunsets and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered.”
Dear One,
Umm. How are we at May 28th already? It seems like just last week that we decided we could put the snow shovels away without angering the snowstorm gods...and now peonies are in bloom. What the heck?
This will be a quick note because we are racing toward the end of the week and the end of the month and I want to use this space to remind you of a couple of important things:
1. If you made a purchase on LYS Day in April, you received a coupon for a discount off your NEXT Yarnology spend. That coupon expires Friday, May 29 and I want to make sure you get a chance to use it! Dig it out of your wallet and treat yourself, my dear.
2. If you own a Yarnology Baggu Tote---aka a Bag With Benefits---bring it in on Saturday, May 30 to get 10% off everything you can fit inside. (If you'll be shopping online, reach out for a code by replying to this email.) It's a Fifth Saturday and we are excited to celebrate it!
If you do not yet own a Yarnology Baggu Bag, my question is, "what are you waiting for?". It's a handy bag in general: the black will not show coffee or tea stains, the logo is subtle enough that you could use it as an evening bag in a pinch, and the handles tuck comfortably on your shoulder when you're dodging slow moving pedestrians. But the real magic happens when you bring it into the shop (or reach out online) during a Bag Day. Ten percent off whatever you can fit in. On a randomly recurring basis.
Please put May 29 and 30 on your calendar...or in your steel trap of a brain.
Somethings are too good to forget.
Warmly,
Gaby
