Party Planning 101
"Celebration is without any cause. Celebration is simply because we are. We are made out of the stuff called celebration. That's our natural state - to celebrate - as natural as it is for the trees to bloom, for birds to sing, for rivers to flow to the ocean. Celebration is a natural state."
Dear One,
The date is set, the guest list is solid (and includes you and your friends), and all sorts of plans are in the works for a fabulous Local Yarn Shop Day 2026. It feels like we're checking all of the boxes for a great party!
I suppose I could take this week to write to you about something else, but it's really ALL we are talking about at the shop:
LYS Day 2026
Saturday, April 25
Noon to 4 pm
Add it to your calendar, stash some "mad money" in the back of your wallet, invite a couple of yarn-loving pals, and make a day of it!
Next week we will let you in on some pre-party details, but for now all I can tell you is that the day will definitely be fun: new yarn, fresh ideas, prizes, and the good company of fellow yarn fans.
Each day next week we will reveal the surprise waiting behind one of the doors HERE. Stay tuned and stay curious!
LYD Day is a day set aside to honor the Local Yarn Shop you love...or the one you're nearest to on April 25. It is an amazing thing to have a place to go (or to order online from) where they not only know your name, but also the project you're currently working on.
And every reason to celebrate should be grabbed and held onto with both hands.
Hoping you can make it to a shop near you,
Gaby
