Such Exciting News!

Dear One,

I'm so excited to share the latest shop news that I'm actually bouncing up and down. I am reminded of how it felt to be my thirteen year-old self waiting for the date of an upcoming sleepover with my gaggle of dearest junior high friends. Counting the days and then the hours until the bell rang on a Friday and we were pouring out of Social Studies class---at last.

For more years than I care to admit, the Yarnologists have pondered the feasibility of hosting a retreat for yarn lovers. We love having your talented self in the shop for conversation about fiber and project inspiration...but there's never quite enough time to cover everything during shop hours, is there?

Well, we are FINALLY doing it! The first annual Yarnology Midsummer Retreat is happening in 2027!

And just like the teenage sleepover, there are details and logistics that need to be shared ahead of time.

You can check out the basic information and the FAQs at any time this week...and Official Registration opens at Noon on Tuesday, October 6.

Until Noon on October 6, the event will appear to be Sold Out. But do not worry, friend. You've not missed your opportunity. The event simply isn't "live" yet.

If you've ever been to a Yarnology event in the past, you know we don't skimp on the fun...or the contents of our swag bags. And I have it on good authority that you can expect a pop-up yarn shop in your lovely workspace. There might even be a surprise guest or two showing up to offer inspiration!

My mom always insisted those sleepovers be small and intimate and the Midsummer Retreat will be no different. We want you to feel like our treasured guest and have comfortable room to work on your craft during the day, so we are keeping the numbers low and your experience curated.

But the best part will be the people! Check with your crafting pals to see who can join the fun...or bring your favorite non-crafting travel companion---because there is so much to do on a Winona weekend that they will have no trouble entertaining themselves.

Your assignment right now is three-fold:

1) Check out the information in the link

2) Make sure your calendar is clear for July 16-19, 2027

3) Set an alarm for Noon (Central Time) on Tuesday, October 6 and be sure to grab your space online here

I hope you sign up as a treat to yourself. We each need a far-off light to look forward to as we march toward the short days ahead. And when was the last time you said yes to an experience that was all about you and the craft you love?

Warmly,

Gaby
