Fresh and New!

I am madly packing for a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains, where 200 of my cousins (not kidding) are about to gather for a reunion. I tell you this as an excuse for the fact that my mind is even more scattered than usual.

I'm taking along my cotton/wool blend cardi project...even though I will probably be too busy talking and laughing to knit much. But a knitter's gotta have some knitting when she travels, right? 

Even though I'm a bit stressed, I cannot, in good conscience, get on the plane without telling you about the best, newest cardigan of the summer. It's just been released and you should---at the very least---take a peek.

May I introduce to you the charming Rayas Cardigan by The Wandering Flock? It was released last week, so is brand, spanking new and I think you two might become great friends.

The suggested yarn is The Wandering Flock's very own Cotton Lino, a genius blend of 35% organic cotton/30% mulberry silk/20% linen/15% baby alpaca in a Sport Weight. This everything-but-the-kitchen-sink yarn is lovely in all the ways and can be a bit tricky to find. 

But guess who has it in stock? Yep. Yarnology. Thirteen amazing colors as this goes to press.
