That last email was missing a big chunk, so probably didn't make a lot of sense. Here's how it should have looked:

You may have noticed that our ability to deliver email to your inbox has been...er... hampered over the past several months.
Today we (well, dear Elle deserves all the credit) are launching a new and improved email system which should be a whole lot cleaner, clearer, and more in tune with our needs and yours.
I'm still figuring out how to use all of the amazing tools at my fingertips, but it feels wonderful to know that this tuning message will actually make it to you!
