What Fun!

"A party without cake is just a meeting."

Dear One,

Well, THAT was fabulous! Thanks to all who stopped at Yarnology for last Saturday's LYS Day. It was wonderful to see old friends and meet new ones. It warmed my heart to hear former strangers sharing pattern inspiration and congratulating one another on completed projects.

Thanks, also, for putting up with my onslaught to your in-box. We rarely send more than one missive per week, but late April is an exception to that guideline and I appreciate the fact that you didn't unsubscribe. You are true blue.

Everything about LYS Day was fun, but I think my favorite part was watching and listening to people as they chose yarn for our brand new Make-Along (MAL), called Cowling at the Moon.

If you're a knitter, the pattern for the MAL is Night & Day Cowl by Andrea Mowry. If crochet is your jam, the MAL pattern is the Leah Cowl by Susy Notsosquare.

In either case, we've got curated bundles to help you with yarn selection...and the MAL runs through May 27, so there's loads of time to create a great cowl.

I swoon over every single MAL sample in the shop, but I think my favorite Night and Day Cowl is the blue and white version in the shot above---made with two shades of Isager Trio 2 (linen + cotton + lyocel). It's really graceful and I think it will be a fabulous accessory for summer and early fall.

I love that the Make-Along (and it's lovely online bundle options) mean that you can be part of the Yarnology gang, even if you live far away or are too busy with life to stop in and touch the yarns as often as you'd like.

Oh! In my excitement about Cowling at the Moon with you, I almost forgot to mention the prize winners from the LYS Day submissions. Six lucky shoppers will each receive a $50 Gift Card to Yarnology:

Nancy D., Diane H., June R., Coleen W., Julie K., and Jennifer D.

A hearty thanks to you for being a friend of the shop. We, quite literally, couldn't do it without you. And we wouldn't want to. Because you're the best.

Warmly,

Gaby
