This Friday

“One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.”

John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Dear One,

This Friday has been declared a Day of Truth and Freedom in Minnesota.

The goal is for as many Minnesotans as possible to take a day away from work and shopping and school. And then to spend that day reflecting, checking on friends+family+neighborhood, healing a bit, and maybe joining a peaceful march in their community.

This unified, statewide pause in daily activity is designed to remind others (and also ourselves) of the strength and determination and impact and collective moral heart of Minnesotans at a time when that message might be getting lost.

In support of this effort, Yarnology will be closed on Friday, January 23.

This change to our normal routine may be inconvenient for you. It is definitely going to cramp our style a bit. But that's the point. It's a sort of economic "fast". It will help us focus our hearts and minds on the issues at hand.

We will take Friday to stand fiercely with Minnesota. We hope you find a way to stand from wherever you are.

Warmly,

Gaby
