I have a confession to make. I am not necessarily good at being surprised. I tend to over-react and then it takes me ages to calm down and enjoy whatever the surprising thing was. I don't know why you need to know this about me...unless you were thinking of throwing one of those parties where people leap out from behind furniture...but it leads me to my topic.
Because of my issues with big surprises, we lean toward small, gentle surprises at Yarnology. Just in case. No one needs a huge rush of adrenaline at the yarn shop. We love it when you get excited about great yarn...but not so excited that your smart watch alarm goes off.
One of our favorite happy surprises is when a Fifth Friday pops up on the calendar. And, you guessed it, we have one at the end of May.
