Stress-free Seaming

Do you find yourself avoiding some knitting patterns because they require seaming? Sign up for this hands-on class and become proficient at creating smooth, invisible seams using the mattress stitch. We'll also teach you to graft live stitches using the kitchener stitch and finish with the sturdy fan favorite--three-needle bind-off. This class is ideal for the curious beginner to intermediate knitter. Locking stitch markers and a tapestry needle are included in the class fee. See below for required homework!

Homework:

Please use the same needle size for all swatches. No slip-stitch edges and no garter stitch borders.

Make TWO stockinette stitch swaches, both 6" wide and 6" tall and still on the needles.

Make TWO stockinette stitch swatches, both 6" wide and 6" tall and bound off. Mark the cast-on edge of each swatch.

You must be 16 or older to take this class.
