Wildflowers & Honeycomb Socks

Image Product

The Pattern
A not quite vanilla sock knit cuff down with a very easy eyelet pattern, a honeycomb slip stitched heel flap and comfy rounded star toe, just enough little details to spruce up a vanilla sock pattern perfect for the prettiest spring colored yarn in your stash. Inspired by the sweet little flowers that cover the ground just as spring returns. The pattern is written for 3 sizes using dpns. It is adaptable to magic loop if that is your preference.

The Yarn
These socks are the perfect match for our brand new (and yes, exclusive!) Palmer Yarn Company Sock Sets. These are in limited supply, and are only available at Yarnology.

Towards North Hat

Image Product

The Pattern
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up and is started with a half twisted stitch ribbing. The ribbing is separated with a gorgeous vikkel braid. All over the body and crown of the hat growing lines of slipped stitches are placed on a background of easy stockinette. The hat can be worn fitted or more slouchy.

The Yarn
For this hat, we've selected La Bien Aimee's Merino Aran in Rust. You'll only need one skein!

Pescador Hat

Image Product

The Pattern (Crochet)
This one-skein wonder made with worsted weight yarn can be worked up in a day and it comes in sizes Baby to Adult Large. The knit-like rib makes it fit snuggly around your head for extra coziness and the short rows at the crown take away any excess bulk.

The Yarn
For this hat, we've selected La Bien Aimee's Merino Aran in Rust. You'll only need one skein!

Zen On Beanie

Image Product

The Pattern (Crochet)
A fun, warm, squishy, zigzag spiral, textured beanie design that is unisex in appeal, and looks fabulous worn by both kids and adults. These beanies are a quick make, and can be made in any DK or Worsted yarn. Finished beanies are perfect for selling, gifting, or charitable donation.

The Yarn
In our eyes, Three Irish Girls' Springvale Worsted is really the only yarn that's quite as soft and springy as this squishy hat. Grab a skein of the Dorian Grey colorway, and an XL Black Pom Pom to top 'er off!

Diagonal Mitts

Image Product

The Pattern
These mitts are a bit of a magic trick: simple rectangles of garter stitch are worked on the bias to create an intriguing slant-y fabric, then strategically seamed with a gap for the thumb. Voilà: mitts that anyone can make, and everyone will love.

The Yarn
Choose from our large selection of self-striping skeins from Vesper Sock Yarns for this project. You'll only need 1 skein!

Fadewalker Fingerless Mitts

Image Product

The Pattern
The Fadewalker Mitts are inspired by the stitch pattern for the Jaywalker Socks by Grumperina. The pattern comes in two sizes and was designed for a 5-skein mini set, but you can also fade 5 colors of your choice or use a single tonal, multi or self-striping yarn for a different look.

The Yarn
Here's another perfect match for Vesper Sock's self-stripers. We're especially in love with the Misty Mountain Rainbow colorway (in case you need a nudge), but feel free to choose your own rainbow adventure!

Big Love

Image Product

The Pattern
BIG LOVE is worked seamlessly from the top-down. Start working the collar separately. Then you pick up and CO sts for the back and shape the back neck with short rows. Continue to work the back for the length of the armhole. Pick up the stitches for the front and collar and work both fronts symmetrically for the length of the armhole. Join back and fronts to work the body in stitch pattern down to the bottom ribbing. Pick up the sleeve sts to work the sleeves in rounds in stitch pattern.

The Yarn
We've got you covered with Le Gros Lambswool from Biches & Buches. Grab 7 skeins of the Dark Blue Turquoise and fall in love this autumn!

Yana

Image Product

The Pattern
yana is worked seamlessly from the top down. Knitting starts from a cast-on at the shoulders. Short rows are used to shape the shoulders, then each part is joined to work the back down to the underarm. Stitches are then picked up at the shoulders to work each front. The work is then joined at the underarm and worked in the round to the split hem with set in pockets. Sleeve stitches are picked up around each armhole and sleeves are worked from the top down in the round to the cuffs with 1x1 Rib panels. The cowl neck is worked last.

The Yarn
We're obsessed with Daruma's Falkland Wool in the light, creamy Color 1. It's the perfect match for this comfy pullover.

Go-To Throw

Image Product

The Pattern
The Go-To Throw is a simple and elegant (yet oh-so-cozy) blanket dreamed up by our very own Gaby Peterson here at yarnology. When you buy 4 or more skeins of Berroco Macro, we'll include the pattern for free!

The Yarn
Our favorite yarn for this throw is Berroco Macro. You'll need 4 skeins, but each will give you 12-13” of length in the finished throw—so, if you want it to be longer, buy additional skeins and keep going.
