Looking for a unique crochet idea that is one-of-a-kind? Imagine creating a keepsake project that records an entire year of daily temperatures! This class teaches you all the ins and outs of creating a temperature blanket, table runner, coaster or pillow.
You will crochet small squares using a beautiful stitch called the Linen Stitch and attach them as you go. No seaming involved! The project uses DK-weight yarn in a range of colors you select to represent temperatures. (You can use this link wunderground.com/history to look up any temperatures you need to record.) We will provide a handout for graphing your color choices.
And your project doesn't have to be based on local temperature. You can record the temperature of a favorite vacation destination, homeland, or location special to you.
Materials: I (5.5mm) Crochet Hook DK weight yarn
